Driving Directions. We hope you’ll visit St. Edward’s University to enjoy the beauty of our campus with its hilltop views overlooking the city of Austin. Be sure to take in the shade of one of our favorite trees - the Sorin Oak - named in honor of Father Edward Sorin, the founder of St. Edward’s University. You’ll find the Sorin Oak next to Main Building.
