Why I Teach
Teaching is what I love to do because it never feels like a job. In my courses, I try to remain enthusiastic and passionate about biology so the students will gain a better appreciation for the study of life. It’s extremely important to demonstrate to students how we, as scientists, assimilate research with concepts learned on a daily basis.
I believe it’s essential for students to see how exciting and challenging science is to their professors. I convey this by engaging them in lively discussions and activities during the lecture.
