Tuition & Fees
Affordable Private Education
Founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross, St. Edward's has provided access to affordable, quality private education for more than 125 years.
While cost is a factor, do not let the price of tuition alone discourage you from applying. It's your final cost — after scholarships and/or grants have been awarded — that matters most. To offset tuition, we combine university resources — merit awards, specialty scholarships and grants — along with federal and state grants and other outside programs. For the 2014–2015 academic year, St. Edward's awarded close to $65 million in scholarships and grant assistance.

Cost of Attendance
While most students pay far less, the total cost of attendance for the 2015–2016 year is $53,200. (This includes tuition and estimates for room and board, books and supplies, technology fee, and personal and transportation costs.) Most students are offered a financial aid package that includes student grants, and all students are offered a federal Direct Student loan. Some students are also offered campus employment. The amount of this additional financing is based on the difference between the cost of attendance and the student’s other assistance.
