Change is Good!
One look around St. Edward’s University will tell you that things are on the rise: enrollment, engagement — and, of course, exceptional new buildings that are changing the way students live and learn. Track the progress of our newest addition — a residential village, which opened in 2009. |
At the heart of this development is a strategic master plan, implemented by the university in 2000 with the goals of:
- Doubling undergraduate enrollment within
10 years
- Securing the university’s place as one of the best small universities in the country
What’s not changing? The values and traditions of our Catholic heritage and the teachings instilled by our founder, Father Edward Sorin, more than a century ago:
- Courage to take risks
- International perspective
- Commitment to provide educational opportunities for students of varied cultural, religious, educational and economic backgrounds
As the campus evolves to meet the needs of a diverse community of students, administrators ensure that every step forward also reflects the university’s rich history, sustaining the spirit and vision that makes St. Edward’s so exceptional.
