St. Edward's University President George Martin presents to staff

Each semester, University President George E. Martin provides a state of the university address. All members of the campus community are invited to hear details of recent successes and receive updates on important news that impacts life and work here on the Hilltop.

President Martin kicked off the 2016 Fall President's Meeting with a welcome to 79 new employees, university recognitions and our newest, and largest, class of more than 1,100 undergraduate students.

President Martin explained the upcoming process for beginning work on the university's new strategic plan for 2022, and progress on the next phase of Investing for Our Future.

An update on campus enhancements and construction included the Operations Building, Main Building, Holy Cross Hall and The Pavilions, the new student apartment complex scheduled to open in Fall 2017. The announced transition from Zimbra email to Google apps for university communications earned a round of applause.
