Admission and Financial Aid Information
The Accelerated BSN is designed for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree in another field and completed the required prerequisite coursework.
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in a field other than nursing
- A minimum overall GPA of 2.5 and prerequisite GPA of 2.5
- A grade of C or better in prerequisite courses, completed within a maximum of two attempts per course
- Completion of required prerequisite and general education coursework before beginning the nursing program
Students may apply while completing prerequisite courses. Nursing prerequisites generally must have been completed within the past five years, although relevant healthcare experience may be considered for older coursework.
No TEAS or HESI entrance exam required.
The Accelerated BSN (ABSN) program has a summer start term only. Applications are now open for Summer 2027.
Application deadline is December 14, 2026. Interested candidates can apply through the NursingCAS application.
