UT Austin Transfer Admission Pathway (TAP) at St. Edward’s University

A Purposeful First Year in Austin

The Transfer Admission Pathway (TAP) at St. Edward’s University offers students who applied to The University of Texas at Austin a strategic, supported start to college.

Students begin their first year on the Hilltop, completing rigorous coursework aligned with UT Austin transfer requirements while receiving individualized academic advising throughout the year.

As part of the St. Edward’s community, TAP students live and learn on our beautiful hilltop campus, with full access to residence life, student organizations, athletics and campus resources. Located just five miles from the Forty Acres and three miles from downtown Austin, St. Edward’s offers the best of both worlds — a close-knit campus experience and the energy of the city.

Pathway Program Next Steps

Students may participate in TAP at St. Edward’s University only if they have been offered the option through UT Austin. Students interested in the program must follow the key dates and deadlines in order to enroll at St. Edward's for the fall and spring semesters.
