Through Mary Moody Northen Theatre (MMNT), students majoring in Theater Arts at St. Edward’s work alongside professional actors, designers and directors in the creation of dynamic artistic work — all within the context of the university’s nationally recognized liberal arts education.
These opportunities for young artists are made possible in part by contributions from the Mary Moody Northen Theatre Society membership. Society contributions provide students with resources for hands-on learning and provide audiences with the rich experiences that keep you returning to our performances year after year.
In addition to production and teaching resources, MMNT Society member contributions also help fund student scholarships, allowing us to maintain our commitment to educate a diverse group of performing arts students regardless of their financial situation.
Members may also contribute in support of the annual BFA Acting Showcase, which supports our Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting candidates in their trips to New York City and Los Angeles at the end of their senior year to audition for agents and casting directors on both coasts. Here’s how 10 BFA in Acting students made it to New York.
Your gift may be designated to scholarships, production support, the BFA Showcase, or you may make an unrestricted gift. Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you at Mary Moody Northen Theatre.
