St. Edward’s University recognizes the hard work and high achievement of top-performing students, which is why we offer academic scholarships to transfer students with outstanding academic records.
In 2016-2017, 93% of transfer students received scholarships and grants, and the average transfer student received $17,612 in scholarships and grants (not including loans and campus jobs). We’ll automatically consider you for merit-based scholarships when you apply to St. Edward’s. No additional application required. (Please note that students who receive athletic scholarships may not be eligible for all of the scholarships and grants listed below.)
Trustee’s Excellence Scholarship
3.5 and above cumulative GPA and at least one recent full-time semester completed when you apply (30 hours of college credit preferred)*
Trustee’s Merit Scholarship
3.0 and above cumulative GPA and at least one recent full-time semester completed when you apply (30 hours of college credit preferred)*
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Additional $2,500 Annually
Current member of Phi Theta Kappa (the two-year college honor society), 3.5 cumulative GPA, 30 hours of college credit when you apply, at least one recent full-time semester
*For applicants with less than 30 hours, high school transcript and test scores will be considered.
