Lucian Symposium 2026

Lucian Symposium:  (Exo)Planetary Environments

This year’s Lucian Symposium is on Friday, September 18, 2026.  As in recent years, the morning session will feature three keynote speakers, while the afternoon session consists of a student poster session.

• Keynote Speakers: 8:50 am - 12 noon, Carter Auditorium (JBWS 186)-- The three speakers are planetary scientists with expertise in geological processes, ocean worlds, and extrasolar atmospheres. • Student Poster Session: 2:00 - 3:30 pm, First Floor of JBWN–Over 70 students from the School of Natural Sciences will share their findings and experiences from their recent summer research or internship through this poster presentation showcase.
