How to Respond to External Law Enforcement
In light of recent federal policy changes, questions have arisen regarding the impact on higher education and our community. We would like to reiterate established protocols for engaging with external law enforcement and government agencies.
If external law enforcement arrives on campus or if you become aware of their presence, immediately direct them to the University Police Department (UPD) in the University Operations Building, Room 214, and call or text 512-448-8444.
UPD will verify the credentials of the law enforcement agency and facilitate the appropriate campus procedures. St. Edward's University will only disclose information when required by a signed court order or if there is a public safety threat.
