Message from the Vice President for Student Affairs and Administration 

Dear Hilltoppers,

As we settle into the semester, I am struck by the incredible resilience of our community. Seeing you support and inspire one another truly embodies the Holy Cross spirit and makes our hilltop special.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our essential staff—including our teams in Facilities, UPD, Mail Services, Residence Life, and Topper Eats—whose tireless work during the recent winter weather kept us up and running. Thank you, also, for the patience and grace you’ve shown as we’ve restored our buildings and grounds; your flexibility has been a gift to us all.

In that same spirit of care, I reaffirm our unwavering support for our immigrant community, we stand firmly with you. You are a vital part of who we are, and we are dedicated to ensuring every Hilltopper feels safe, valued, and empowered to succeed.

Also, don't forget Super Tuesday for the Texas primary election is March 3. Visit the Toppers Vote webpage for more information. Early voting is Feb 17-27 (nearby South Austin Rec Center). On Election Day (March 3), registered Travis County voters can vote right here on campus at the UFCU Alumni Gym.

Finally, I am excited to celebrate Black History Month with you. This is a beautiful time to honor the legacy of Black leaders and thinkers who shape our history and our campus today. I encourage you to stay engaged, get involved, and continue growing together!
