One-Time Events
Fall 2025 Adult and Teen Writing Workshops by Artist in Residence. - Reservation required.
Dec 6th - Artist in Residence opening reception. Timing is 3-5pm as a come and go style event. No reservation needed.

Wild Basin Creative Research Center is nestled close to the entrance of Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve. These 227 acres of beautiful Texas Hill Country provide a delightful and inspiring backdrop for corporate events, nonprofit gatherings, business meetings, or private parties.
Our Visitor Gallery, located on the first floor of the Creative Research Center, is perfect for social gatherings, classes and workshops. Visitor Gallery rentals include usage of two large wall-mounted smart screens and wi-fi.
Our Conference Room, located on the second floor of the Creative Research Center, is ideal for small meetings or breakout sessions. This space includes a large conference table with 14 comfortable chairs, plus access to a large wall-mounted smart screen and wi-fi.

St. Edward's University Wild Basin Creative Research Center is located within Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve. This 227-acre nature preserve is co-owned and co-managed by Travis County and St. Edward's University, and is a treasured resource for our entire community.
