Apr. 27, 2020

Dear Community,

As previously announced, St. Edward’s University is postponing the traditional commencement ceremony to a later date. Plans for an on-campus event will be solidified once more is known about the advance of the coronavirus pandemic. We will continue to be in communication about this in the coming weeks and months.

While we wait for a time to celebrate in person, we are commemorating the achievement and resiliency of the Class of 2020 with a virtual ceremony, a space we have created online for graduates, families and friends, and the campus community to celebrate May 2020 commencement.

As with in-person commencement, there will be one ceremony that will honor the graduates from the traditional undergraduate population, and a separate ceremony that will honor graduates receiving a master’s degree and graduates of the New College/Adult and Continuing Studies programs.

A link to the virtual commencement website will be emailed to all graduates no later than May 7. The link will also be posted on the St. Edward’s University graduation website no later than May 7,

All visitors to the virtual commencement website will have access to all videos and graduate slides (no invitation, password or RSVP is required to access the website). The videos and slides can be viewed in any order the viewer chooses, though the intended order of viewing will be shared in advance on the university’s graduation website under the Order of Exercises links.
