Dr. Nancy Salisbury is an eternal optimist who strongly believes in the Holy Cross mission. She’s a senior advisor and strategist on using digital interactions to spread ideas, engage stakeholders, and foster relationships.  Her courses are infused with more than twenty-five years of integrated communication experience, focusing on public relations, social media, and organizational development.

Every day Dr. Salisbury strives to build a more cooperative, humane, just, and positive future. Collaboration with her students takes center-stage. Together they develop and implement media strategies, persuasive messaging, and promotional campaigns.  She specializes in the healthcare, technology, and non-profit industries. Her research highlights conscious capitalism and focuses on socially responsible communication in small- to medium-sized organizations.

Next to collaborating with students and clients, Dr. Salisbury enjoys the outdoors, reading, and time with her family.  Hiking, tent-camping, soccer, and beach walks are her favorite outdoor activities.  Historical fiction and mysteries are her top book genres and she is adept at avoiding true-crime podcasts.  Her ultimate joy and endless amounts of laughter come from time spent with her husband and their four children.
