Bill Martello brings extensive practical managerial experience from multiple industries, along with a varied liberal arts and business educational background, to his work in embracing the global business environment and sharing knowledge meaningfully across multiple cultural and commercial milieus.

The foundation for Dr. Martello's approach to the education of the whole person comes from his working class upbringing in the industrial valleys of Western Pennsylvania. The dignity of all work displayed in that setting stimulated Dr. Martello to explore the immense range of activities, cultures, and responsibilities in our global environment. Through both his wide-ranging liberal arts undergraduate work and his subsequent decade of managerial experience in service industries, traditional manufacturing, high tech manufacturing, consulting, and international trade, Dr. Martello has worked to expand the understanding of human interactions at the personal as well as the organizational level.

My teaching priorities are to encourage students to grow in their ability to think analytically, emotionally, managerially, broadly and inclusively. This process works to expand analytical abilities and personal accountability.
