Dr. Read is an adjunct professor in St. Edward's New College, where she has been teaching COMM 4320: Communication, Leadership and Technology since the spring of 2012.
Additionally, she has taught an American Dilemmas course at St. Edward's and is a full-time instructional designer at Texas State University. She recently earned her PhD from The University of Texas at Austin, where her dissertation studies focused on the design and development of online faculty/professional development for educators. She recently presented her findings at the 2015 AERA (American Educational Researcher's Association) conference in Chicago, IL.
